Is it really non nano?
I love this Zinc Oxide Powder but I noticed the bag I got does not say â non nanoâ like the picture in the link.It is easy to blend and I love making my own sunblocks for my family.

Best deodorant yet!
I’ve been using this powder for about three years and it works wonders for me. I put it in a container and use a puff to powder my underarms. AND it’s NOT TOXIC!

Stops body odor on feet and pits and more!
I bought a foot powder to stop odor. It was $14 for a few tablespoons. What was the only ingredient? Zinc oxide! Use for 3 days in a row and foot odor is gone for weeks. Put it in all your shoes to prevent reinfection of odor causing bacteria. Then I tried it as arm pit deodorant. Fabulous! What about other areas that sweat … leg pits, under breasts, belly fold? All fresh as a daisy and I never get prickly heat. I apply with powder puff or makeup brush, whatever reaches best. And yes, it’s wonderful mixed with butter of choice for sunscreen.I think I save hundreds of dollars a year when compared with commercial products I used to buy.

Use to make horse sunscreen
It had a good consistency, and was easy to mix together with the other ingredients.

try to keep far from humidity
which isn’t easy in summer conditions if using for sunscreen. Tends to cake/clump. That doesn’t detract from my review, just a note to users. 5 stars for a better container, but yeah, less plastic, etc…This has been great for me. Try if your skin doesn’t love sunscreen, kids, etc… but also note it won’t play well with makeup but is easy to tint the powder if you aren’t a heavy makeup person, or like me, mostly in the garden. Doesn’t feel as drying to my skin as almost any other mineral sun care and is mild exfoliant.

If you’re a DIYer, this is for you!
I bought this to do some DIY beauty/health products. I have nothing but praise for this stuff. WEAR A MASK WHEN HANDLING IT. You dont want this in your lungs.I’ve made sunscreen and a diaper salve so far. It’s the EXACT same active ingredient as the EXPENSIVE mineral sunscreens. It’s been working great! I’m very fair skinned. Almost poclain. (Darn genetics) I made a moisturizing sunscreen bar for my face and added a tiny bit of cocoa powder to give it just a tad of color to even out my skin tone. I’ve recently started to wear it everyday. My face has been noticeably clearer and my fine lines are disappearing! Happy day!I will never pay 15.99 for 4oz of 30 spf sunscreen… Good grief. It’s highway robbery. The diaper rash salve has been working well. I never bought or used the cream from the store, so I can’t really compare it. But once again, its the same active ingredient: zinc oxide.

peel and flake and fortunately with my lotion
made my own DIY sunscreen and noticed it became clumpy so i double boiled the pre-made sunscreen and filtered twice with a metal strainer. i used today in 100 degree austin, tx heat and i got no irritation or tan or sunburn. i am caramel complexioned and when i unfortunately don’t have any products nearby while working out in the sun, i can burn to the color of milk chocolate which is uncomfortable because my face will feel tight, become bright red and peel excessively. i recently became sunburned using an inexpenive dollar general brand 85 sunscreen and was determined to quickly recover, hence the reason for purchasing such a large size of the zinc oxide. my arms and face typically will become completely discolored, peel and flake and fortunately with my lotion, the peeling is still the residual from my previous exposure but the skin tone is the same caramel color on the inside of my arms and the outside of my arms. my face hasn’t tanned or sunburned.

Great for rash cream, sunscreen and skin irritations
From my research into zinc oxide this is used for diaper rashes, skin rashes, eczema and to help heal the skin without causing more harm. This powder is drying to the skin, which clears up rashes and can be used as a natural sun protectant. What I have found in using this powder is that a little goes a very long way and applying even the smallest amount to my face burned, possibly because my skin is so sensitive but it burned.I use this as a treatment for rashes and other skin irritations (away from my face) and in small amounts mixed in with Arrowroot powder and it has helped as a body powder to dry up rashes and other irritations to help them heal. The powder itself is very fine, soft and light. From what I’ve used this for I’d recommend to others who are looking for their own homemade sun screen and diaper rash creams because it works well and costs much less than buying one already made and laced with chemicals if you have super sensitive skin.

Let me start by saying that I do not use this in the way it is recommended. I bought this because I have a severe pigmentation problem on my face and I am taking treatment where I need to be sun protected even in the house. This is a less expensive way of getting it than buying expensive and thick creams that need to be applied multiple times during the day.Unlike chemical sunscreens, mineral sunscreens sit on top of the skin and last longer. I brush this on my face and keep it on till I have to go out because the white cast would look funny in public. I’m thinking of mixing it with powder that matches my skin colour and using it as a final coat when I go out.Earlier you would see sportspersons wear zinc oxide cream on their faces in white patches to avoid sunburn. Apparently that is no longer a recommended way to use it. I don’t know why but this works for me and it also calms my skin and absorbs oil.

I bought such a costly product.. But amazon sent this product with an expiry date of April 2020. As am using this product for face so i can’t use it after April..half of the product will go waste…. Because for sunscreen we need a very little amount of zinc oxide…… I never expected this from amazon
