At last!
I have been trying to find something cute and easy to carry my water bottle, gels, phone, keys, etc on long runs during the summer for a long time. Here’s my progression:x Flipbelt: Kept riding up, had to adjust while running, very annoying.x Bike shorts with pockets: Kept getting pulled down by the weight; pockets usually small and don’t have zippers.x Janji multipass: Worn over one shoulder, it was secure with the stabilizing strap, but felt unbalanced and annoying (looks cool though). On the waist like a fanny pack, bounced horribly and needed constant adjusting.x Salomon Adv Skin 5 for women: Straps to secure it at the front were confusing and annoying. Also the women’s version had smaller and shallower pockets??? Why do we hate giving women pockets. Too expensive for how much I hated the design. Finally led me to this one! I’m size M (6/8) in most women’s clothes and the Small vest was adjustable and fit perfect. Long straps means it should fit a wide range of sizes. Two easy straps across the chest, one zipper pocket big enough for a phone, two deep water bottle pockets, and two shallower pockets for gu and stuff. At half the price of Salomon. I LOVE it! It’s comfortable to wear over just a sports bra without chafing, looks cute, doesn’t bounce, zero complaints. I don’t use the waterbottles these came with, instead I use the ones that are made for the flipbelt (which do annoyingly leak, but are otherwise secure in this vest even when empty).Hope it lasts!

Comfortable and well built. I like the design. Just finished a 13.1 with it and no chafing. It stayed in place even with one bottle of water, my phone, my keys and 2 gels.

Not perfect but pretty darn good
After a 10 mile run I can say the vest is super light and comfortable. With the hydration flasks, you obviously feel more weight but it is still very comfortable. As a big sweater, I appreciate the excellent ventilation. This is an LT version so there are less pockets than other vests. I was able to fit my Pixel 7 phone into the zippered pocket. If you can pick up further hydration along your path, this vest can easily be used for long runs up to marathon length. If hydration along your path is a problem, I probably would stick to runs up to the 12-14 mile range (obviously this depends on individual needs and weather conditions). The water flasks are great. They are easily accessible during your run and I love that you can easily get water out of them with a gentle bite. Some other flasks I’ve used are not as convenient. Here is why the 5th star is not being awarded: During my run, I found the vest loosening a bit several times. So, I had to adjust the strings. When the vest gets loose, the water and top of vest will start having uncomfortable movement. When the strings are adjusted properly, all is fine and secure. I read a review where someone said their flask came out while running. They have ties for the flasks so I have a hard time understanding how that happened. However, I did notice that when the bottles get emptier, they do try to bob out of the pockets. I found myself shoving them into the pocket a few times. But they never fell out and the string ties remained on the flasks.I will give it a few more runs and see if these issues persist. Maybe I just need to make small adjustments. But overall, I love the feel of the vest, I love the comfort and breathability. And visually, the vest looks pretty damn good.

Run Vest
Getting into running and got this as a hydration option during my runs! Love this vest it fits very well doesnt rub or chaff on me when running even in a tank top. Has great pockets for water and snacks! Water bottles are good and are soft sided so helps to not feel like a solid surfaced is sitting on my chest when running. When Iâm running and drink from the water bottles they do move a bit when not full which can be a bit annoying at times. Usually just requires me to adjust them but itâs minor in my opinion to have to do so. Great vest. Very happy with it. Will probably take it on hiking trails come the fall as an alternative to my traditional hydration pack. Would recommend!

A little too big!
However, it was nice. Ran a half marathon it became a little uncomfortable around mile nine. I carried all I needed maybe size down.

Great for short runs
I needed something for short runs when itâs hot and humid out. True to size and always high quality. I have multiple backpacks and duffles from osprey and they are always great!

Missing hydro flask lid
Love the vest but straight out of the sealed plastic bag, it’s missing one of the lids for a HydraPak.Can we please send me what I paid for! Incomplete order means a bad review in my book.

The craftmanship and choice of materials is fantastic. The fit is great while standing and light movement. However, for extended runs the vest chafes my neck and is extremely irritating.

Typical Osprey quality – very satisfied and would recommend.

I purchased this pack for running. Iâm a reasonably seasoned runner, Iâve done self-sustained 50k distances, races up to 50 miles, plenty of different shorter runs and races as well. Iâve had a few hydration packs and belts over the years, most of which were online purchases that I hadnât tried on. This is the first one that was problematic to the point that I will likely not use it again. I have a pack that gives me more storage and water for longer distances, I intended this one to be a smaller and compact option, specifically with 2 bottles so I could carry one for a friend as well, for outings around 2.5 hours. The good:The bottles worked well and sat comfortably, regardless of how much water was in them. Others storage was as expected and fine more my needs. I didnât see any obvious quality issues with the construction either. The bad:The sizing guide is flat out wrong. I measured per their guidance, and found Iâm in the middle of the range for a medium. This is consistent, I wear medium shirts and medium pants and have for 25 years. Iâm a medium person. But even with the straps fully cinched, this vest fit sloppy. It bounced uncomfortably when I ran. The weight distribution pulled forward, enough to affect my posture and develop back pain. Iâm used to some of that 4-5 hours into a long outing, but with this pack I developed it in about 90 minutes. Itâs obviously going to skew forward heavy, with the bottles up front and nothing at the back, but Iâve used my long-distance vest in the same configuration and not felt nearly as forward heavy. I think, while probably not the entire problem, the reason it was so problematic was all the movement because of the bad fit. I thought I must have measured wrong, so I got help remeasuring the widest part of my chest, under the armpits – per Ospreyâs guidance, and still landed in the middle of the medium range. My feeling is that it also needs more adjustment points to dial in the right fit, but it certainly runs several inches bigger than is indicated, at least on my slightly tall thin guy build. That fit issue makes it unusable for running, likely problematic for hiking too. Conclusion:I could swap it for a small, which the size guide clearly indicates is too small for me, but might actually work. Iâm hesitant about sticking with it because of the way the weight sits, and the fact that I donât feel there are enough adjustment points to help correct that. Keeping the bottles tight to the body would help, and additional straps or elastic panels on the sides would come in handy for dialing in the fit and help control how the weight rides. Maybe Iâll try to Frankenstein it into something useful at some point, but I had high hopes for it and was really disappointed as is.
