Great Value BCAA Powder – Works Just as Well as Expensive Brands
Nutricost BCAA powder is an excellent budget-friendly alternative to other premium brands. It delivers the same effective results for muscle recovery and endurance without the high price tag. The watermelon flavor is refreshing and not too overpowering, making it easy to mix and drink. The powder dissolves well, and it’s great for pre-workout, post-workout, or even during exercise. If you’re looking for a cost-effective BCAA supplement that performs just as well as the more expensive options, this is a solid choice. Definitely worth it!

    Trust Nutricost
No grit, mixes well but you have to mix it with a protein shake or something has a very bitter taste, I trust Nutricost so I assume it works as well as their other products

    Unflavored has an unpleasant taste
Works well but I’ll stick to the flavored ones they also carry. It says unflavored but leaves an unpleasant taste. I’d give it less stars for the taste however I tried the flavored ones and they tasted good.

Excellent BCAA Powder – Great Taste & Performance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Nutricost BCAA Powder 2:1:1 (Raspberry Lemonade) is a fantastic supplement for anyone looking to enhance their workouts and recovery. The taste is refreshing and not overly sweet, making it enjoyable to drink during or after exercise. Unlike some other BCAA powders, it mixes well with water without any clumping or chalky texture.Performance-wise, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in muscle recovery and reduced soreness after intense workouts. The 2:1:1 ratio is perfect for optimal absorption, and I appreciate that it has no unnecessary fillers or artificial junk.Overall, this is a high-quality BCAA supplement at a great price, and I’ll definitely be buying it again. Highly recommend!

Great Flavor, Excellent Ratios, & Quality Ingredients! Return Buyer!
Awesome price and no weird additives! I have been losing weight/in calorie deficit (CICO) since March 15, 2017 and had my weight loss goal set at 1.5lbs per week (which is a -750 calorie deficit per day). I really dislike protein powders and don’t eat a lot of meat, so I decided to add a BCAA to my day to *hopefully* help prevent muscle loss from dieting + working out. I am working out 5 days per week for about 2 to 3 hours daily. I take mostly strength-training classes (again….to preserve muscle while losing fat) mixed with a bit of cardio here and there, so I am burning a lot of energy and calories. This BCAA appealed to me because the 2:1:1 ratio is exactly what you’re supposed to look for and typically only find in high-priced versions. On top of that, most of the expensive ones contain things like caffeine, green tea, and long list of “speedy” ingredients that really aren’t necessary and that I didn’t want. The fact that this contains Ashwaganda was a bonus because I’ve taken it before and it’s very mild and only seeks to improve mood. I also liked the fact that this offers a variety of flavors/no flavor and is *allegedly* calorie-free.I drink this everyday in a concentrated form before my workouts…and then I take the remainder of the concentrated mixture (about 3 scoops total) and add it to my 64 ounce water and just sip on the diluted version throughout my workouts. I continue to add more water until I’m done working out and finish up whatever is left about an hour post-workout.Although I HATE fake sweetners, this one is easy to get used to compared to others. I got the Green Apple and it’s basically a VERY SWEET Kool Aid. I don’t know why the sweetness is quite so high…but the flavor is really tasty and adds well to water. There is no smell other than a muted “apple” scent and this doesn’t typically irritate my stomach. Although BCAA’s often cause nausea if you drink a lot DURING workouts, I found this only happened to me the first few days and then I adjusted the amount and my body also adjusted to having it. It only happened during extremely intense cardio workouts that sometimes make me a little queasy anyway. This is also very easy to mix. Although I have shaker bottles with the ball….I don’t use them for this. I just shake it up in a regular water bottle the night before and stick it in the fridge for morning. No stirring or blender bottles necessary. What I don’t quite understand is how it can be truly “calorie free”. I’ve done some light reading and discovered that BCAA products don’t have to list the calorie count as long as the calories *per gram* are less than 5. I hope that’s not the case here because 5 calories per gram means that 1 scoop (7 grams) is about 35 calories. And since the recommended serving is about 20 grams per day…that quickly adds up to nearly 100 calories. To those not looking to lose weight or “cut”….that seems like no biggie. But even if you’re drinking a low dose, 100 calories is a whole lot more than “calorie free”.So I WOULD like to know if this is truly “calorie free” or the calorie count just isn’t required due to the way the serving sizes are listed. Mind you…what I read could be total BS, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re working out for weight loss or cutting and adding these calories without realizing it.Anyway, overall I’m thrilled with the taste, performance, and price and have ordered twice since my first purchase. I’m definitely pleased and although making muscle “gains” is nearly impossible while in deficit, I’m seeing nice muscle definition after losing 25 of the total 34 pounds I was looking to lose. I feel like this has been helpful both in preserving my existing muscle….as well as aiding in the DOMS (the sore muscles afterward) by just enough to notice. That’s the best you can really expect from any BCAA and at this price point, the performance is incredible. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase (though if anyone knows about the calorie thing I mentioned, I’d love to hear back about it). Awesome product!

    Good..but..
The taste is very strong. I only use about half a scoop per shaker due to how strong the taste is. Good price but did give me acid reflux after awhile. Maybe ingredients? Not sure. But I will finish out the bottle and then just go back to my other brand.

Great morning pick me up before breaking fast
I make a drink using this powder almost every morning after I wake up. The flavors nice, it dissolves easily in the blender bottle, and I feel like it helps with my hunger before I break fast. This is generally the best priced bulk flavored bcaa I can find and I’ve bought it so many times now I’ve lost track.Bottom Line: Great choice for a flavored BCAA if you’re in the market.
