Designed to be good for supporting the liver
I like the formula & what’s included in this formula. Most all of the ingredients listed I’m familiar with & yes, they arewell known to be good for your liver among many things.I have used some, if not all at some time or another to support my liver since I believe it is in the front line of defense against toxins coming in from so many sources. If the liver gets overwhelmed I’ll feel it. Don’t like that feeling either.The price is great for a 3 bottle pack. No complaints there. Hope they haven’t used cheaper versions of some of these ingredients. Wouldn’t know unless I had them tested myself. Don’t see that it’s been lab tested. Take it for what it’s worth.One of the nice things about this formula is that they saw no need to add fillers, etc. I really appreciate that when I see that. Too easy for companies to use fillers like magnesium stearate & sodium dioxide, etc. I’ll usually pass on those products too.The capsules are okay for swallowing & despite the many ingredients I haven’t gotten nauseous from it.I’m mixed on my concerns about how clean the ingredients are versus the fair amount they give you.I’ll see how my body does on it overall. If you want to try it just listen to your body.

This is a review for “NEW AGE Milk Thistle NAC Chanca Piedra Beet Root Artichoke Dandelion Root Astragalus – Plus TUDCA & Ginger – 180 Count”When I saw the first ingredient was garlic, I became a little concerned. To my knowledge, I’ve not used a garlic supplement before. At least not one I had specifically purchased because of garlic as an ingredient. I was worried that my breath might give off a garlic scent. But no worries, it does not. I have taken this supplement for 10 days straight and if I was going to start to have garlic breath, it would have presented by now.I ordered this supplement for its inclusion of milk thistle. As that is the largest font ingredient listed on the label, I’m assuming that is the workhorse of this supplement. I’m having a lot of stress at work and not taking great care of myself outside of work. I’m taking this supplement to help me not get too out of whack before my work calms down.I like that Dandelion is included. Dandelion is supposed to help with digestion, kidney, liver and gallbladder functioning. Beet root is supposed to aid in digestive health and cardiovascular health. Internet searching also shows that Artichoke supplements are good for liver, digestive and heart health. It is clear the formula designer of this supplement chose to include many ingredients that provide similar benefits to the body.I like that it came in a three pack.

The most important rating for supplements is how effective they are â and for what condition. This however, takes time, weeks or even months, to evaluate. And, this can be subjective. I can’t rate effectiveness yet.I take a LOT of supplements, for 40 years, and I’ve extensively researched them regarding the claimed benefits of their active ingredients. I suggest you do the same. I always keep in mind who gains financially for their claim (either pro or con) and/or litigation avoidance posturing â as an indicator of objectivity.And, I research the NON-active ingredients to see if any are “controversial”. A common reason for NON-active ingredients is they “help” the MANUFACTURING process. ALL ingredients I’ve EVER seen listed on supplement labels are GRAS – Generally Regarded as Safe – by the US-FDA.But some doctors and researchers don’t always agree. That seems important to me. I evaluate the entire ingredients list, for these Amazon reviews. I avoid controversial ingredients on principle, provided I can find a similar produce without them. Usually I can.Also, it is possible for supplements to interact with pharmaceuticals. That could be important, pay attention. I don’t take any pharmaceuticals, so I don’t comment on interactions.This is an “all in one” product, meaning it has many of the ingredients purported to help “cleanse” the liver.Milk Thistle is the most common, well known, and popular ingredient, widely purported to be good for the liver.Also:A blend of 21 (if I counted correctly) herbal/plant-extract supplements. But the dose is for the blend, so no way to tell how much of each one. But, they are serious about claiming “all in one”.4 other herbal/plant-extract, which are well known, exceptChanca Piedra (which is new to me). Healthline (on Google) lists 7 possible benefits including liver and kidney stones.These contain no non-active ingredients considered to be controversial.
