Customers say
Customers find the girdle provides the right compression and works well, with a flattering appearance. The comfort and material quality receive mixed feedback – while some find it comfortable and of good material, others report it’s extremely painful to wear and the fabric breaks down within two months. The fit is also mixed, with some finding it great while others say it’s 4 inches too long. Value for money opinions are divided, with some saying it’s worth the money while others find it too expensive.

This Compression garment is very good!
I waited a couple of weeks post surgery to decide to buy this. I hesitated due to some of the negative reviews. But I really needed something that didn’t have zippers or hooks and would give me good compression.I went by the measurement chart. I’m 5 feet tall and approximately 194 pounds after surgery. I am still swollen as well. I had lipo and a mini inner thigh lift. I ordered the 2xl (was in a 3xl in a different marena garment), and this one fit perfectly.I sleep in it as well, and take off to wash it by hand. Since I’m short, the legs do go further down my calf, but it’s okay. By end of day my legs swell up badly from working so the extra compression is needed down my leg anyway.I slowly pull it up because it could tear if you aren’t careful. So far I have been using this a couple of weeks and no issues. In another week or two I may size down (hope to) so I only ordered the one since they are expensive.I hope this is helpful to someone who is in need of a compression garment. I feel it’s made well and it’s comfortable too. It’s fully pull on. No zippers or hooks. It does have the opening to use the restroom. But I don’t use it. I pull it down from the top to use the bathroom.

Long waisted but the opening rocks
My wife loves this. It is strong compression except itâs very long in the waist so buy smaller if you arenât tall/ long waisted. The hole down below is big enough to do all your business which is vital cuz this is crazy hard to pull on and off(kinda the whole point). Speaking of which, the elastic part at the chest is VERY tight and became painful for my quite thin wife. She had to place a sock against her skin to make it bearable. But it doesnât slip at all and thatâs what she wanted. Highly recommended.

Cant rate durability yet but comfort is 10/10
My dr gave me calf length garment that pulled up to ribcage at my 1w po. They were murder on my already sore rib area from TT/ lipo. drs pair squeezed my back of my ribs so much over time i was miserable. Gambled ordering this and am delighted to say its perfect. Excellent Compression no more pressure on those ribs. I bought large. I am 5â6â was 160# 36c size 6/8 pre op. Glad i didnât go w XL or compression would have been significantly different. M would feel too tight right now- but in 4 weeks i may get short version in M (as swelling will go down and may need that). Cannot express my gratitude enough. Donât even want to imagine dealing with that crushing pain with band on my ribs for next few weeks – worth every penny.

Buyer Beware!!
I’ve worn this garment for a week and it’s already got a hole in it. I paid over a hundred dollars for it. There products are so EXPENSIVE and So VERY CHEAPLY made. My surgeon gave me 2 pairs of the pants post op they had holes in them in less than 2 weeks. I hated to buy this because the compression pants tore up so quickly. I washed them in cold water and hung them to dry like advised. They still tore up. SMH I had to have something to replace them though. I was extra careful everytime I put it on. I’ll be damn if it still didn’t get a hole in it while putting it on. The size is not the issue. My pants were actually to big and they still look like someone took a grater to them. I really wish I could find a better company for after surgery compression garments.

Marena, what were you thinking?
The seller did a great job of mailing this garment expeditiously. I have no complaints about this seller.I do have feedback for the manufacturer. I purchased these for a less bulky form of compression to wear to work to address the pain of lipedema.Lipedema is a little known loose connective tissue disease which affects at least 11% of women in the US. If your upper body has always been a smaller size than your lower body, if your legs seem to grow out of proportion to your torso, if one day you can fit in your clothes, but the next day everything seems too small, you may have Lipedema. If you have “cankles” or “tree trunk” legs and excessive “cellulite”, or feel like you weigh a lot more on the scale than your eating habits account for….please do some research into Lipedema/Lipoedema/Lipo-lymphedema. You may have always thought you had a propensity toward being overweight, you may go to the doctor for pain in your legs or any number of ailments but always seem to leave with the admonishment to “lose weight and exercise” more. Please know….it’s possible you have lipedema. The swelling and adipose tissue it creates do NOT respond to diet and exercise! Most family docs, gynecologists, endocrinologists, etc are unaware of this medical condition that causes so much distress to those affected.Research is just beginning, but that doesn’t mean the pain and suffering of so many women is imaginary. Unstudied does not equate to imaginary! If you know your legs/arms/body hurt, you are excessively fatigued, and that you gain weight disproportionately to the amount of calories and exercise you get….please seek information and support.Back to the garment. These work GREAT for daily wear. They are less obvious under clothing than other types of compression garments. They are more affordable than custom comoression. They are lightweight yet durable, and easy to don. However, as a woman with lipedema, my legs and torso are not the only parts of my body now being affected. As I have gotten older (50’s), I have developed the swelling, painful connective and adipose tissue of lipedema in my arms and upper chest area also. The level of compression these provide relieves the hollow achey feeling in my legs, however the metal findings used to adjust the length of the straps that go over the shoulders hit awkwardly at armpit level, this aggravating the affected tissues in that area. Initially I didn’t notice any discomfort, but after several hours at work, I became aware these findings on the straps were digging into my flesh. By the time I got home that first day, those spots were feeling bruised and itchy. They weren’t actually bruised, but the discomfort of wearing the garment for 8 hours remained with me even after I peeled them off and put on my Bioflect. This is the only problem I can identify with this garment.I truly love this garment, and was so excited to find something that would enable me to be comfortable yet blend in at work. It’s summer in the south….these were cooler and helped me to feel and look less conspicuous. However, I won’t buy another set until Marena relocates those metal parts to a better area. They could be placed on the shoulder or back where the same type of metal hardware hits on a typical brassiere strap. I recommend Marena make the metal part narrower, orient the straps a bit more toward the torso, and make the adjustable straps much…much…much longer. This will result in a much more customizable and comfortable way to wear the suspenders and thus enjoy the benefits and quality of this garment.
