Call for replacement activation instructions
Happijac has great customer service and if you call someone will walk you through the replacement activation process. These are expensive and this is my third one in 10 years. Donât leave them in a hot RV. Store them in your home with AC while the RV is in storage.

BUYER BEWARE !!!
There are 2 different remote controllers for Happijac camper jacks. I bought one from a site (RV S.) that said it “fit all Happijac camper jacks”. It was the wrong one and they refused to take it back. As a note, the circuit board and the remote should have sequential part #’s. When I received the correct one, from Happijac, it worked perfect. And, ironically, it was cheaper. As for the part A+.

Model number different from Picture and not compatible!
I purchased this item based on the picture with model number 723915. I didnât open the package right away only to discover after my return policy expired that itâs actually model 183070 which Happijac informed me is not useable with my receiver. Now I am unable to exchange the item. Their text description does show the model number but I only referenced the picture which is very misleading.

programming the controller
No instructions are included. At this time there are no instructions on the Happijac website. Got ahold of a very good tech who gave me these instructions. Plug in RJ11 cord into the wall mounted circuit board on the left side hole near the two large breakers, then the other end into the side of the controller. Push 5 & 6 at same time. Push 8, 5 times. Push 0, 5 times, then push in and out at the same time. Green light on circuit board should come on. Unplug all, should work as advertised. Good luck.

Photo and info conflicting
As was noted elsewhere…there are two Happijac remotes which look the same. The remote sent from Amazon (183070) was not the remote in the photo (723915). I needed the later. Thank you Amazon for allowing a return. In all fairness part number 183070 was noted in the product information.

This worked great once I figured out how to sync it with the motherboard in the truck camper. The instructions on how to sync this for the first time to the motherboard didnât come with the remote. Syncing these for the first time requires a short sync reset. if you call Lippert, they will send you the reset instructions.Also, be sure that the model number on your existing remote matches the model number on the one that you purchase. The numbers must be the same.

Arrived in perfect condition but would not pair with my controller. Nothing support tried worked so I returned it.

The new controller works OK but you need to reprogram the receiver if you have used another controller previously.

This remote model 183070 is for the older style receiver, which runs on 20amp fuses. If you have the newer style receiver with 25amp fuses you will need the other model remote. You will need the cable to connect the remote to the receiver for programming, they do not include that or any instructions for programming but it is available online.
