NICE QUALITY
Wow, it was a little more of an expense than what I would normally pay, but since it sits out in the open room, I wanted something that looked quality and pleasant to look at. I really LOVE this ash bucket, and I was proud to display it last winter. In fact, I have kept it beside the sofa near the fireplace all year long, that’s how nice it is!!! In my opinion, it deserves a place in the room all year long and not banished to a closet, garage, or storage building. I want to keep it nice looking and incorporate it as a piece of furniture. Ok, well maybe you won’t be as passionate about how your room looks, but it is sturdy, quality built and has a very nice secure lid to keep the ask in the bucket. I don’t think you will be disappointed. I had a cheaper bucket that I used for years. While it was “functional” it wasn’t pleasant to look at and I set it outdoors until I needed it. This ash bucket is a super nice product and I highly recommend it.

Excellent quality ash bucket. Well-designed and sturdy, but not heavy or bulky. Only problem is the cover/lid was not included in the package. Please send the lid it needs in order to haul ashes. Thank You!Edited to add: Lid was shipped promptly. It was packed well and sits securely on the bucket. Excellent customer service – Thank you! Bucket is generously sized and tall enough to be secure, but it is still easy for me to carry outside to dispose of the ash. A friend told me to never put hot ash/debris in this bucket or the paint will peel. The handle feels strong and secure, and it just feels like an excellent quality build overall.

Top things I like about this….
This is a simple product so there is not much to review. What I like about it:1) Size- large enough to clean out and dump a small shovel or trowel full of fireplace ashes into it.2) Seems sturdy and solid but I’ve only used it a few times as I didn’t have the fireplace cranked up too many times this winter.3) Functional- shape, handle, spout are all great features.4) Style- looks good on the fireplace hearth.

Did not come with lid. I contacted customer service and they quickly replied and processed a lid to ship me immediately. Amazing service!Holds a lot of ash prior to emptying. Sturdy handle and a raised, heat resistant bottom. Sturdy well fitted lid to keep ash from flying out. Would recommend.

This ash bucket looks good. It holds a lot of ashes. The main reason I bought it was to have a bucket I could use when shutting down the fire at night, something I could use to hold hot ashes and let them die. Well, this bucket is not airtight. The lid fits loosely and there is a gap that allows air to get in. I cannot use it for the purpose I need it for. So it looks pretty and I can put cold, long dead ashes in it. But the intended use is not possible. If you are looking for an airtight bucket look elsewhere.
