These handsome Ambassador Series Cabinets keep extinguishers handy, but out of the way. Manufactured by J.L. Industries, these sturdy steel cabinets feature an electrostatic white epoxy finish, continuous hinge door, double-strength door glass and a 1 1/4″ face width on the trim and door. Ambassador Cabinets come in surface mount, fully recessed (flat) and semi-recessed (1 1/2″ or 3″ trim) models. The 3″ trim model has rolled edge construction, the others are square edged. Glass doors have standard door hardware (zinc-plated pull handle and roller catch).
Semi-Recessed: Flush cabinet door with continuous hinge and roller catch allow for inconspicuous semi-recessed mounting (2.5” or 3”). Built from durable cold-rolled steel, this cabinet holds 2.5- or 5-lb. fire extinguishers.
Powder Coat Finish: Our Ambassador Series cabinets are built sturdy with cold-rolled steel and a 4″ rolled trim style to hold up to any building condition, and finished with a white powder coating to prevent rusting and compliment any interior.
Glass Window: Our semi-recessed-mount white fire extinguisher cabinet features a zinc-plated pull handle and a cabinet door fitted with a pane of acrylic glass for visibility and ease of access.
Dependable: With a continuous hinge and roller catch to prevent the door from jamming, this Ambassador series fire extinguisher cabinet is designed to be safely and easily opened in the event of an emergency.
ADA Compliant: ADA guidelines require that mounted or hanging objects protrude no farther than 4 inches when located in the “hazard zone.” The base of a commercial fire extinguisher cabinet must sit lower than 27 inches from the ground but higher than 4 inches from the ground to allow access by both the visually impaired and wheelchair users.
