Great little placemats for kids!
I bought these as a solution for my constant battle of maintaining clean placemats for my young kids. I had bought the plasticky placemats they sell at Target, but after many, many washes the printing has started to wear off and that worries me (and also looks terrible). It also bothered me that I couldn’t ever just throw them in the dishwasher or otherwise sanitize them. When these came, I noticed that they were smaller than the ones I used previously, but the semi-sheer white color was kind of nice on my table and wasn’t nearly as “OMG KIDS LIVE HERE LOOK IT’S ELSA!” They actually look quite nice and I feel like I could keep them out with company over and not be embarrassed. The mistake I made was serving spaghetti the first night we used them, and so I already have an orange stain on one of them. Bummer! But we are still using them and I just make sure I always give the stained one to one of the kids because inevitably more stains will come. For what I paid, I’m already going to order another set to rotate them out because I’ve been happy with them. I haven’t put them in the dishwasher yet, but they have handwashed very well several times, and dry in a snap with a dishtowel. We have also used them for art projects, so they serve more than one purpose.

Excellent product, low maintenance (but not zero)
I bought the Tranparent ones, and put one on the desk in front of my computer, where I usually eat. It’s not glass-clear, but slightly “foggy” – looks nice on my wood desktop. It’s nice and thick, but also quite limp, so it lies flat and doesn’t warp (unlike some polyester mats I tried). At the same time, it’s very resilient and seemingly impervious to scratching and tearing. Also, it stays where you put it and doesn’t slide around at all – you have to pick it up in order to move it. Another plus is that it’s nice and quiet – there’s no clanking when you set porcelain and glassware on it.One reviewer describes these as “dust magnets”, and there’s some truth to that. They do collect dust & hair, and you can’t just brush it off; however, the surface comes clean easily by swabbing with a wet tissue. Daily swabbing seems to be sufficient.I expect these mats will serve me well for many years.

These are great!I bought these a few months ago when we got our new dining table. We have three small children so things get destroyed quickly in our house!! These held up and Iâm so thankful.Now we purchased the translucent ones because our kids have those plastic character placemats (super cheap from Walmart) but they are slippery and accidents happen quickly.We wanted a griping alternative but also wanted them to still see their other placemats underneath. These did the job!!We have purchased munchkin silicone mats before but they were thin and my kids ripped them with forks so they were a waste. These however are decently thick and have a good weight to them so they stay in place.They wipe down easily, I put them on the dishwasher with no issue. These work fine. Theyâre think enough to stay in place and protect the table but theyâre impossible to get totally clean. Water spots stay on them and never come off. Theyâre totally fine for my use (toddler placements), but not my favorite thing in the world.

Where have these been all my life!!!!
Even my husband was impressed!! We have a glass top dinner table, and prior to 2 weeks ago when I bought these, we didn’t have any place mats. It made me cringe every time I watched our 6 year old eat and get food (almost) everywhere. Hubby didn’t think we needed place mats – shows you who cleans up the table! Ha! The first time we used these at the table, Hubby couldn’t stop looking down and commenting how nice they were to have! Being silicone, they don’t slip and slide around on the table, and the dinner-ware actually stays put on the placemats too! (No more sliding the drinking cup along the smooth glass table & almost making a giant mess by my 6 year old!!!)Cleaning is super easy! I roll them up individually at the table to keep whatever crumbs inside, bring over to the sink, & depending on level of filth, I’ll either just rinse/use the sprayer with hot water, or I’ll lay them one at a time at the bottom of the sink and use the dish scrubber. To dry I lay out a kitchen towel flat on the counter, one at a time lay the place mat on top of the towel, then I put a 2nd kitchen towel on top of the mat and pat my hands around to absorb all the water droplets.

I have purchased larger mats from this company before and loved them. I am ok with these table placemats, but wish they were as thick and substantial as the larger mats. These are pretty thin.

Los manteles son como de silicon, me gusta que los puedes doblar o hacer rollito y siguen quedando perfectos sobre la mesa, no les quedan manchas si se caen salsa o algún alimento que pinte, lo unico que no me gustó es que por lo mismo de que es silicon, se les pega muy fácil el polvo o moronas o si los lavas y los secan con papel se le queda pegado.
