This has a pleasing citrus scent when applying. Does have a brighening effect. I do follow up with an additional moisturaizer when using at night as I prefer a little more, but i is also moisturinzing on it’s own, just lighter.

Feels nice and like the scent
Nice fresh, fruity scent and feels moisturizing. I don’t think it does anything other than that – as I didn’t see a change in skin tone or brightness but as for making my skin moist, it does the trick. Also like the applicator – I am not a fan of eye drop applicators and this dispenser is much better!

Smells lovely; gives a dewy finish
This serum from CALM COSMETICS features a lot of great hydrating ingredients that focus on hydrating and plumping your face while brightening it at the same time. 🙂 It has a soft citrus scent and features blood orange, vitamin C, and chamomile to help brighten dull skin. The serum itself is a very thick consistency so you will have to work it on your fingertips to warm it up before applying.When applying it to my face, I did notice there was a bit of slippery stickiness that died down after 5-10 minutes. This would be a really good grippy primer to use with certain makeup because of the stickiness. I think that the ingredients formulation is really good for the price because I did notice dull spots faded after about a week or so of regular use. The pump bottle was easy to use and I only needed 2 pumps for my entire face.I think if you’re looking for a brightening serum, this is a really nice option as it features a lot of good ingredients that will work hard on dull spots of your skin. It smells very nice and has a pleasant texture once it’s dried down and settled on the skin. 🙂

Did not irritate my sensitive skin.
I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful about what I put on it. I am pleased that this serum did not irritation my skin at all and, on the contrary, did seem to even out and brighten my skin tone. I have had great results from using HA and vitamin C in the past, so I like that this product combines the two. I like to use it at night, right before bed, so I don’t use any other products with it. It goes on a little bit sticky but softens up quickly. I would think you could use it under makeup as long as you give it time to dry first. I think the price is reasonable for the quality and quantity you get and I feel confident recommending it to others based upon my experience with it so far.

I’ve been using a Vitamin C + hyaluronic acid serum for over a year now and am fully sold on what the product can accomplish when used daily. Unfortunately, my favourite product is periodically on backorder and I have been searching for one I can sub in when needed. This may, indeed, be that product.I love how it feels on my skin and how quickly it absorbs; it gives me that sought-after glow and hydrates effectively. The scent is phenomenal–a natural, fresh, citrus-y scent that makes me happy every time I use it. It arrived well packaged in tamper-proof cellowrap, and one or two depressions of the pump will reliably release the small amount of product needed to get the job done.My one and only concern is that Vitamin C is *notoriously* unstable and of almost no use once it oxidizes. You can easily determine when this has occurred in other serums due to the colour change, but this one is–I’m assuming, based on the photos in the description–orange from the start. I’m keeping mine in the refrigerator, as I always do with Vitamin C serums, but honestly have no clue whether this product is still viable. My best guess is that it’s fine, but it’s frustrating not being able to know for certain.Still, I like it well enough to give it the benefit of the doubt, and it currently ranks at the top of my list to replace my favourite when that product is unavailable. Recommended.

Smells great
The pump is nice, but I think I prefer a dropper so that I can apply it by drops to different areas of my face. It patted in well. I try to pat stuff into my skin instead of rubbing now which is why I like to be able to put drops in different spots. This serum does feel hydrating and smells really nice. I canât say that I have seen an immediate improvement in my fine lines, wrinkles or hyperpigmentation, but I know that takes time. Definitely will keep using this.

Strong citrus scent
The way this smells, it’s almost like you’re applying citrus juice to your face. It’s a nice, natural smell, but if you don’t like that scent it would be hard not to notice (though it fades quickly).This absorbs pretty quickly. It’s also pretty easy to spread, and it’s easy to get out of the pump. I did notice a bit dried in my pump at one point and then it squirted weird, but that may have been a fluke. After wiping it, it’s working fine again.
