    So far best quality holder
    So am a security officer for a Hospital and I received this key reel 05-8-23 (may). As of today it’s 5-21-23. I had a key reel before and it couldn’t hold near the keys this can hold!! Using only 3 keys some times a single car key fob and it broke at the spring. Well this key ring can hold truck key, fob, decoration chain, my hosiptal keys and cuff key. I’m say something that’s blow your mind. 05-19-23 we had to cuff a guy in the hospital after a fight. While he was on the ground with cuffs on we had to double lock them on the ground. I was only officer to be able get to cuff key quickly thanks to this key reel!! If it breaks I’ll let y’all know. For the record I have 2 vehicles one key is combined as a fob and key at same time. The truck has a key and a fob.

    Lasted with repeated use
    I bought the Kevlar one and it last 3.5 years. With a 1 year warrantee and the fact that I use it for my work ID badge holder plus keys, and use it repeatedly daily to go in and out of security doors, I would say this lasted great and did it’s job. Just ordered a new one because it just snapped the leader. No worries, still a great price, time for a new one.

    Hold a lot of keys!
    I need to carry around a couple keys for work. I used to have an old school (from the 80’s) version of this key chain. Your belt slipped through the holder and it used a chain instead of a cord. I was very hesitant on this one but couldn’t find one like my old one. I’m very VERY pleased with this key chain. I actually find myself preferring the retractable cord over the chain. The clip on the back that slips over the belt holds strong. It has slipped off a couple times but not to a point that it irritated me. Very pleased with this product and have actually recommended it to other coworkers.

    Lasted less than 10 months before Kevlar string broke.
    Purchased the 36″ Kevlar version of the “KEY-BAK Original Retractable Key Holder with a Chrome Front, Steel Belt Clip, and a Split Ring on January 23rd, 2024. The Kevlar string broke on November 17th, 2024, after less than 10 months of light used (I only used it for my work access badge and never abused it). I expected it last much longer than this. I do not recommend this product.

    The so called Kevlar string it is a cheap product. I had to fix the rupture twice. The return is closed in a month, but I wish I would be able to return. Cheap construction. I did not try with stainless steel chain though. After taking apart you can see the material is not Kevlar, also the internal metal pin for the string is broken. The item last for a month.

    Although it was a pain to thread thru belt, I am finding the clip on style of this type not as good as my original.All it took was one time when I pulled a key up to a lock and the clip on style shot free of my belt. Nearly caused a finger injury. Not a fan of belt clip.
