With a 2,500 lb capacity that is available with a synthetic rope, this winch is great for smaller ATVs. The durable, all-metal construction features black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and the waterproof sealing keeps the elements out. The new clutch design is based on the legendary WARN 4WD hub lock know-how. The three-stage planetary gear train is all-metal, smooth, and reliable, and the load-holding mechanical brake offers great control. The VRX 25-S includes 50′ x 3/16″ synthetic rope, hawse fairlead, and zinc-plated hook, as well as a handlebar-mounted rocker switch. WARN offers a limited lifetime mechanical warranty and a 3 year electrical warranty on this winch.

The name says it all, WARN. It’s been around forever and is a name you can trust. I could buy any brand I wanted but I chose Warn. One reason is they are based in Oregon while in just north in Washington. That wasn’t the only reason as I would have chosen regardless of their location.Their customer service is stellar and their product is simply top notch.

Winch installed easy works awesome wiring was the toughest just routing the wiring. All in all around 4 hrs to install.

Nice Winch, Supplied Cables too Short
Iâve been a fan of Warn products for years. Iâve owned 9 Warn Winches over the years. One thing I noticed and read about was the winch leads from the contactor to the winch have been shortened to the point they are too short. I just installed this on a 750 Suzuki King Quad. The black and red wires are way longer than needed and the blue and yellow are short. Itâsnice they color code the wires and terminals but in 99% of the ATVâs the battery and contactor will be close. The long leads go to the winch. I was able to reverse the colors and make it all work.

Warn winches are renowned. I had a Chinese winch on the headache rack of the truck. It failed after 3 pulls… what a fn waste. So bit the bullet and got the Warn VRX2500. It wouldn’t run when I mocked it up using the Chinese wire from the battery. So… I bought 15 feet of 6 guage braided marine-grade wire. The best. Winch pulls like a champ. Amazing it would work with the just-abit thinner wire.

Awesome winch but a little pricey. I did have to modify my original warn mounting bracket that my old 2000lbs warn winch, for this to fit my atv.

Installed on a 2008 TRX420 and it was a tight fit. I had the Warn mount and it had me install the winch upside down. Keep in mind these winches are larger than the previous models. Modifications were made to my front bumper. Installation took time and patience but it came out mint.
