COMBOGESIC is a unique patented combination of paracetamol 500mg and ibuprofen 150mg, two tried and trusted active ingredients that work together in different, yet complementary ways to help relieve pain and reduce fever (Paracetamol) and reduce inflammation (Ibuprofen) at the same time.

Fast and effective double action pain relief product for a variety of pain symptoms such as headache relief, migraine headache, tension headache, muscular pain, back pain, period pain relief, toothache pain, fever, aches and pain from colds and flu, sinus pain, sore throat.

Directions:

Take 1–2 tablets with a large glass of water.

Repeat the dose every 6 hours, as required, up to a maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours.

COMBOGESIC will have to be taken for up to 3 days at a time for adults, unless advised differently by a doctor. COMBOGESIC will have to not be combined with any other medicines containing paracetamol or ibuprofen.

Safety Warning
This preparation is for the relief of minor and temporary ailments and will have to be used strictly as directed. COMBOGESIC is not recommeded for children under 18 years of age. Adults: Keep to the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine for longer than 3 days at a time unless advised to by a doctor. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage.


Do not use if:
-If you’re pregnant or trying to turn out to be pregnant.
-When you have impaired kidney function.
-When you have heart failure.
-If you’re allergic to paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
-If you get an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. Also contains lactose.

Unless a doctor has told you to, do not take Combogesic:
-When you have asthma.
-If you’re aged 65 years or over.
-With other products containing paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or with medicines you are taking frequently.

Ingredients

Paracetamol 500 mg and ibuprofen 150 mg. Also contains: Lactose Monohydrate.

Directions

For oral use. For short term use only (not more than 3 days). Adults: Take 1 tablet (or 2 if required) with water and food, at least 6 hours apart but no more than 6 tablets in 24 hours. Do not take for more than 3 days.

Safety Warning

Do not take Combogesic Pain Relief: If you’re allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine; When you have or ever had bleeding in your stomach or bowel or bloody diarrhoea; you have a peptic ulcer (i.e. stomach or duodenal ulcer), a recent history of one, or have had peptic ulcers before; with any other medicines containing paracetamol or ibuprofen, high dose aspirin (above 75mg on a daily basis) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) including cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) specific inhibitors e.g. etoricoxib and celecoxib; if you frequently drink large quantities of alcohol; When you have severe heart failure, liver failure or kidney failure; When you have cerebrovascular or other active bleeding; When you have blood-clotting disturbances, i.e. reduced numbers of platelets in the blood; When you have asthma, urticaria or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin, or other NSAIDs; all through the last three months of pregnancy; If you’re under 18 years old Warnings and precautions If you’re taking Combogesic Pain Relief for longer than the recommended time or at higher than recommended doses you are at risk of serious harms. These include serious harms to the stomach/gut and kidneys, as well as very low levels of potassium in your blood. These can be fatal. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
